Nope, haven’t had that issue at all. What parts have you been struggling to get hold of?

Have you tried what I put in my original post? That’s my only thought really, a proper system reboot. Let me know how you get on

Member17 December 2025 at 00:26 in reply to: Power settings reverting to factory settings on every startupThere is a way around this now, mine stays on smart all the time. ie. Get in it in the morning and just drive off. I’ll post the instructions on here tomorrow. You do have to have the 06 update installed by the dealer first though.

Member17 December 2025 at 00:38 in reply to: Power settings reverting to factory settings on every startupFor everyone wanting their J7 to stay in SMART mode all the time and not have to select every time you start car try the following. For me it stays in smart even after turning off and restarting car.
Select New Energy
Go to Power saving mode
Tap Forced
Toggle forced power saving mode on
Tap Smart
Power off car then restart car
Hope it works for you.

That’s a fantastic answer, thank you for taking the time. Lots of info in it and you’ve answered my question. Thank you again

Agree with Rodrigo, it caught me out when I first got the car until I realised what it was

Hi Sarah, I’ve had mine 2 weeks and I’ve done nothing but use the P button on the stalk when I stop and park, the parking brake has always worked and you can hear it deploy so, carry on as you are would be my personal advice.

Thanks Mike. That’s really helpful. It was more of a complete boot cover i was specifically looking for, you know the type, with sides and a back on it but this is a good start. 👍
